Possum with pineapple and raccoon party time

The possum got in quick and took the pineapple core before anything else could arrive. Later, the raccoons gathered for their party. All the animals really love pineapple - either fresh or over ripe!!!!

Raccoons getting ready for Winter

The raccoons are fattening themselves up for Winter.  They will look like balloons in a month or so!!

Rain night and sheltering under the shed!!!!

Night before last we had heavy rain. The raccoon under the shed didn't want to come out, but wouldn't let the possum in!! The raccoon then tried coming out and quickly changed its mind!!!

Sharing and not sharing.....

The possum and raccoons will share - not always willingly - but nothing shares with the coyotes!!!!

Possum and raccoons sharing

The possum came in to share with the two raccoons. Later the two raccoons came back to share with the possum. I guess they can all "get along".

The last hummingbird visitor for this year......

I think this is the last hummingbird visitor for the year. This one came through on September 29th - about 6 days ago - and none seen since. We will have to wait for next year's migration.
