First a possum was out early and ran away when I came out to fill the food trays! Later, four deer, a visit from the fox and finally a coyote. (In-fact the deer did return for a second time - we are now regular stop for them.) Of-course, we did have raccoons all through the night!

Four evening deer and a night fox
We had four deer (the fourth is in the background at the end of the deer section) at about 5:30pm. They visited Janie and Bill first. I guess a deer kicking another out of the way must be a common thing!! The fox visited during the night.

Blue Birds and morning deer.
We have blue birds - Janie saw them first - and I captured a still yesterday. Also we had a morning deer - in the very cold weather.

Hard working possum and raccoon & deer sharing, again.
The little possum was determined to take the frozen ball of chicken skin somewhere else to eat - but it had to put some effort into moving it! The raccoon and deer were happily sharing again.

The raccoon walked in - not worried by the two deer - but one of the deer wasn't quite sure about the raccoon!!

Surprised deer and fox!
Not sure what was going on with the animals yesterday. The deer came in the afternoon and when its hind leg caused the tray to flip up - it was surprised and ran away. During the night the fox came in, and was surprised by something when it got to the metal bowl!!!!

Deer!!
We are now a very regular stopping point on the deer travels. We had the first two at about 5:30 in the evening and then two - sharing for a change - at 2:30 in the morning.

Bluejays eating dog food!!
While I was outside during the day, I noticed that 3 or 4 bluejays were coming down and eating from the bowl of "cheap" dog food that I put out for the overnight animals. It seems (checking on Google) that it is not uncommon for some birds to eat dog food!

Kicking deer and possum in the snow.
The only visitors braving the cold snow were a possum and the deer. The "kicking" deer was there. I guess that's how it says "get out of the way".

Animals & Birds in the snow.
The only animals to come out in the snow - overnight - were rabbit, possum and fox. No sign of a raccoon!! The birds were crowding to get food from all the feeders this morning.

Daylight animals and regular deer visits
We had a visit from a deer in daylight - just 5 minutes before I put food out. Then the regular visit overnight, and finally, a raccoon was there this morning - also in daylight!

An interesting night.
It was an interesting night. We had two deer out back before it was fully dark. There were four altogether, with only two coming into shot. Then the possum ran off with its dinner (thanks Kim for all the meat scraps). Finally, three deer came back about 10:15, and I think that Morgan (the dog) may have been let out about that time, as all three reacted.

Deer and an injured coyote
We had a couple of visits from the deer overnight. Then, this morning an injured coyote came through. It has a badly damaged rear foot. Nature is very harsh!

Raccoon and Deer sharing.....
The raccoon hesitated for a moment, but then carried on to the bowls. The deer wasn't worried at all!! We have a couple of visits from the deer overnight.
