Squirrel grooming!!!

I normally only see the squirrels running around like mad things - or digging holes in the grass to bury nuts!!! This one was really grooming the other squirrel in the nesting box!!!!

Two possums

I very rarely see two possums together - it's much more likely to see a single possum with raccoons!!!

possum-raccoon "odd couple" and a deer visit

The raccoon and possum make an "odd couple". They are sharing the space under the shed. The possum came out first and seemed to be giving orders to the raccoon!!!!

Owl box is becoming a squirrel box.....

This was meant to be an owl nesting box - but the squirrel seems to be building its nest there - bring leaves in!!!

It's a dog's life......

It's a dog's life!! We had a coyote visit, then two dogs that I don't recognize visited at about 4:00AM, then Morgan stopped by nearer 6:00AM. Unusual to see so many dogs overnight.

Raccoons and rib bones.....

The raccoons really enjoyed the Firebirds' rib bones. One of the raccoons always seems to eat "standing up".
