Raccoon families.
This mother and three cubs came out early to get food. I was a little too close to the trays for her liking - but they were all there a little later. Over-night, we are getting more and more families.

Finally found who turns the bowls over.
The past few mornings the food and water bowls have been turned over, and even moved to the next yard! Last night I caught (on video) the culprit! It's looking to see if there is food under the bowls - insects. It did leave a nice playground for the raccoon cubs.

Raccoon family in daylight
Our friendly, evening raccoon, brought the family to see us yesterday. She was out with her three cubs at feeding time. Then one of the cubs stayed with her when a second adult came in. So much food was gone, I had to refill the trays before dark. The deer came by a few times. Overnight, there were two raccoon families at the same time.

Can't wait raccoons, more visitors and a coyote.
This raccoon was standing at the back door - waiting for food. The second one is not coming while I'm there - but runs in quickly after I leave. Two raccoon families overnight, but the increase in rabbits and raccoon cubs is attracting the coyote.

Close up raccoon and a possum
This raccoon is almost acting like a dog - running to greet me when it sees me coming out with food. (It's the food it wants - not me!) We also had a possum visit - been a while since we've seen them.

Fox and raccoons
The raccoon cub needs to realize that when all the other raccoons run away - it should run as well! Fortunately, it was just the fox "bouncing" in! When you are as big, if not bigger, than the fox, you can stay.

Hummingbirds
We moved the hummingbird camera - and immediately got more shots. Most hummingbirds will perch on the feeder, but the first one in the video hovered while feeding.

Me well trained and a very frequent deer.
This raccoon has trained me very well - it wanted me to move to the other side after putting the seed down - so I did! The deer must be living in this area - as it visited at least 4 times across the day. Finally, one raccoon just had to see what was under the water bowl.

Evening happenings
More and more is happening in the evening. The raccoon is getting closer to me when the food goes out - starting in before I've even put it in the tray. Our regular deer, coming all through the day, sharing with the raccoon, and even some (large) raccoon cubs out by the shed!

Food central......
We have definitely become "food central". The deer has been visiting morning, noon and night. The raccoon is coming into the seed trays before I've even put the seed down, and we are getting more and more cubs overnight!

Fully trained!!
I think I'M fully trained! Ricky the Raccoon was at the back at 3:30 in the afternoon waiting to be fed. As I'm now fully trained, I took some seed out, and before I had finished putting it down, she was walking to the food. I stood next to the trays and she decided to eat - only about 3 feet away.

Raccoon antics
The evening raccoon was making me feel guilty by having to dig for insects while I was grilling. When the food went down, it couldn't wait to get in. Later, an experienced raccoon showed the way to claim the food bowl, and the crowd is getting bigger!

Ever closer raccoon and overnight cubs
The evening raccoon who waits in the tree until I come out is getting more and more comfortable with me - ever closer - but this is about as close as we want her, so she is not TOO comfortable with people! The little cubs paid another visit overnight.

Fox raccoon interaction!
The young fox came bouncing in to scare off the raccoon, who soon realized that it was able to scare off the fox!
