The fox popped through during the night, and the squirrel gave us a "good morning" from the box!

Possum Party.....
We had a possum party! I've never seen three possums at the same time by the seed trays, The raccoon was a little left out.

Owl box - or Squirrel Box?
We put up an owl box - in the hopes of attracting an owl - but the squirrels own it!!! (It did have bees during the Summer.) No owl!!

Coyote scared by a rabbit.
The coyote came wandering in. The rabbit stayed totally still until the coyote just got too close - then it bounded away. A coyote is always very nervous when it comes in and it was totally shocked by the rabbit moving. The rabbit got away!

The last humming bird of the year?
This might be the last hummingbird we see this year. Haven't seen any for the past few days - and they are migrating South for the Winter.

Early raccoons and a one eyed possum!
The two raccoons were out early. Later this possum came through. When we are filming in infra-red, the eyes always glow - as they have a hot blood supply. This possum only has that glow in one eye - which means that it only has one eye that works!!!

Party time under the shed!!
Not sure what is happening under the shed - first a possum came out and then a raccoon. The fox seemed to wonder what was going on as well - and why he wasn't invited!!!

Raccoons, fox and an unknown dog!
The raccoons scattered when the "eyes" appeared, but the fox just ran past. There's still a raccoon living under the shed - that needed to see what was going on! We had a young raccoon pay a morning visit - but he left before the unknown dog ran through.

Pileated Woodpecker
One of the more interesting birds we get is the pileated woodpecker. It has a very distinctive shape and coloring. We have a few around and this is one of the smaller ones!!!

Two Possums.....
We often see a possum with raccoons but very rarely see two possums together. These two were running back and forth for a while.......
