Humming Bird in flight.

Normally the hummingbirds perch on the side of the feeder - saves them energy while they feed. This one clearly didn't get the memo.....  You can see it flying and feeding.

Raccoons- Mother & Cubs.....

This mother was with her two cubs.   The cubs are almost as big as the mother.......

(The mother is on the right....)  Quite a change over the Summer.

Early Birds... and some sharing....

We had "early birds" of Smokey the cat - more interested in the water bowl than the food.  It was sitting about 5 feet away from me when I put the stuff out!!! Then the two early raccoons, and finally the possum and raccoon (almost) sharing.......

Possum & Raccoons....

This possum was quite happy to share with the raccoons - until the raccoons started going crazy with each other.....  Up and down the trees.

A lot of hummingbirds in the past week.....

Over the Summer we haven't seen many hummingbirds - but we have seen a lot in the past couple of weeks - including two at the same time..... (They don't share well!!!)

One Possum - Three Raccoons....

The possum didn't mind the raccoons - but one of the raccoons wasn't sure about the possum!!!

Two Possums - Two Raccoons.....

The possum was quite happy with the raccoons - but NOT another possum.  As it ran off, it was "sniffed" by another raccoon, that seemed to make it jump!!

Brave Possum and tree climbing raccoons.....

The raccoons scattered when another raccoon came along - the possum stayed put, and then the others came back.......  The raccoons ran up the trees!

Then the small possum was sharing with three raccoons.  This happened again and again during the night!!!!
