Bird nesting box....

We put our bird nesting boxes back up at the end of last week - s they are mine, they have IR cameras in them!!

This was our first visitor on Sunday - checking out the accommodation.......

A sharing night......

All the usual traffic - raccoons, possums and even a rabbit.  And every-one seems willing to share.  Two raccoons with one possum and two possums with one raccoon.  There is often one raccoon with a possum.....  (The rabbit sneaked in when on-one else was around.

The fox was enjoying some lamb chop bones, but wasn't staying when the large raccoon appeared.

Blended Families......

Blended Families......  Three raccoons and one possum, they seem to get along!!!!

Three possums (almost) sharing.....

I've often seen three or four raccoons sharing the food trays - but never seen more than two possums at the same time - but we had three ALMOST sharing last night.  You can see in the video that the third wanted to get in - but was very reluctant until one had left......

A busy night - warmer - and the fox stopped by

A busy night  - warmer - and the fox stopped by.  It doesn't share with any other animals - but the raccoons and possums were sharing all night.

After a few very quiet nights, the fox is back!!

The past few nights have been very quiet - the sub freezing temperatures have kept everything snuggled down - a raccoon ventured out last night and the fox paid a visit.....

Raccoon - Fox face-off....

It's been a while since we've seen the the fox - but the raccoon certainly was NOT pleased to see the fox arrive.   After a face-off the raccoon quickly climbed up the tree.   The fox stayed for another 10 minutes - pleased to have won!!!!

Deer visiting and a possum & raccoon sharing all night long....

It's been a while since I've seen deer over-night - but we had two last night around midnight. And then there was a possum and raccoon sharing all night long - must be very comfortable with each other.....
