This raccoon was quite happy to share with the little possum, until the possum tried to check what the raccoon was eating!! There is a tray of seed the possum could have gone to - exactly the same as the raccoon has!!! This morning we had two rabbits instead of the usual one. I think they are taking over!!!

Possums, raccoons and fox....
The possum was happily eating, when two raccoons came in - all just carried on. Later, the small fox and large raccoon faced off - doesn't normally happen.

Grown cubs, a deer visit and a morning possum.
It's now getting difficult to tell the raccoon cubs from the adults - they are getting so big. The deer stopped by, and the possum decided that breakfast was on offer this morning.

Backyard hawk
Last evening, I looked out the window and saw this hawk just perched on the decorative fence - that is about 16 feet from the house! I suspect it is a pretty good hunting spot, as the chipmunks and squirrels run past there.

Who really lives under the shed????
Not sure who is living under the shed. The possum carried on building a nest, but the raccoon went under during the night, then the possum came out in the morning. Through all of this we still have party time at the seed trays.

City BBQ treat night......
It was City BBQ treat night. The possum got some Texas toast, then a raccoon sneaked in to get another piece. Finally, the fox grabbed a rib bone.
