New cat in the neighborhood.
Every so often a new cat shows up. I first saw this one yesterday and from the back, at first, the rings on the tail made me think it was a raccoon!

Deer Mother and fawns.

Evening deer, raccoons and cubs
The evening deer was sharing with the raccoon. We have only seen two raccoon families this year. Mother with one cub, and mother with three cubs. Much less than in the past.

Raccoon under the shed
This raccoon came out from under the shed. It has been out during the day - so I suspect it has some raccoon cubs under there, and is looking for extra food!

Flash is still looking good after the Winter. Everything else seemed to be sharing - fox and raccoons, and possum and raccoon.

Fox scared off by Flash
The fox took one look at Flash - the cat - coming in, and ran off! (The fox and the cat are very similar in size.)

Flash was OK with the raccoon, but the raccoon wasn't quite sure about Flash! We had three deer through as well.

Busy night at the cat shelter
Busy night at the cat shelter. Grey-fluffy cat goes in at 9:00pm, then Flash decides to check out what's happening. Not good at first, but then they seem to get along. Finally, Grey-fluffy leaves at midnight. Good, it's getting used.

New cat, then possum and rabbits together.
A new cat stopped by - hopefully NOT another stray! Also, the possum came to the bowls and the rabbits didn't run away the way they usually do!
