There were raccoons all night long and the fox visited at about 5:30am - there was nothing left.....

Under the shed........
The hot-spot in town must be under the shed. A little mouse hoped in, then the possum visited, followed by a raccoon....... The picture is a raccoon sticking its tongue out at me!!!!!

Raccoons have a City BBQ feast....
Risked life and limb to get City BBQ take-away yesterday. (Not really...)
(The folks at City BBQ know the animals love their food and give us additional scraps.)
The fox didn't get a look in - arrive too late to the party.

Party under the shed????
There must have been a party under the shed. The raccoon that went in spent the whole day - in at about 7:00am in the morning and out at about 8:00pm. Later a possum came out from a slightly different spot - but I didn't capture it going in. We still have the raccoons running up the tree when the fox appears.

Continuing saga of the shed......
The continuing saga of the shed. We didn't see any possums coming out last night - but we did see a raccoon sitting near by and then, this morning in day-light, a raccoon went under the shed and hasn't come out. So, I guess it's sleeping there today.

We had about 4 visits from the fox across the night.

The possum under the shed......
We thought that something was living under the shed. Last night I set up a camera to watch - and out popped the possum. I think it might have a nest under there as it went in and out a few times - with food.

Sharing and crowding over night.....
The fox came running in and this time one raccoon ran, but the other stayed. Later, the possum stayed when two raccoons came in. I guess they will be sharing soon.

This raccoon ran off and climbed a tree when the fox came in - then climbed down and walked off. Not really afraid of the fox!!!

Take-away, or eat in. Possums must be the smartest......
Living in Ohio, with all restaurants only now allowing take-away, the possum clearly understood take-away. The first raccoon tried, but the last raccoon didn't even try and ate in!!!!! The coyote just ran passed......

Bouncy Fox and a raccoon close-up.......
Bouncy the Fox came charging in and the raccoon moved away, but returned when the fox ran off. I also moved the ground level camera yesterday, and this raccoon had to check it out........

Not sharing possums and raccoons, and three coyote.
We have two possums -"little" & "large". "Little" didn't want to share with the raccoon!! Later one raccoon didn't want the another to come in, while one just carried on eating. Finally, the bouncy fox just bounced in!!!

We also had three coyote - a pair and a single. There are different markings on the tails and the pair are bigger than the single.

There were lots of raccoon visits last night, but they were scared away by the fox and the coyote. Lastly, it's not just big animals, occasionally there is a little mouse!!!!

Possum and Fox sharing.....
The little raccoon ran off with the ham bone (thank you Kim!!) and then the possum ignored the fox when it ran in - and they shared for a while, before the fox was spooked and ran off!!!!
