A busy night......

First the fox arrived - and sent one of the raccoons up a tree - you can see the raccoon in the top left hand corner of the frame - then four plump raccoons feeding, which changed to three and a possum.  Finally while the three raccoons were feeding, something must have flown over!!!!

The only animals to brave the cold......

The raccoons, possums, fox, coyote, etc all seem to have hidden away from the cold - but the rabbit was out during the night - and, of-course, squirrels during the day!!!

Coyote - A brief visit....

We have been putting less "meaty" food out - still some left over cat food - but the local cats get all of that early - so the coyotes won't visit as much.  We did have a raccoon cub taken by a coyote this pass Summer - caught on video.......

A range of visitors.....

The cat (that is Janie's new target), the possum eating the lamb bone, a quick stop by the rabbit and two raccoons who must have eaten well over Thanksgiving - given their size, all came to visit last night......

Fattening up for Winter.....

We have very well fed wildlife - they are ready for Winter, and these are just two examples of how the possums and raccoons look at the moment..........

Morning deer and a raccoon leaving well before the coyote appeared.....

We had a morning visit from the deer.

And overnight....  We have often seen raccoons sharing with foxes, possums, cats, even skunks, but they always run when a coyote appears.  This little video show the raccoon knowing the coyote was coming, and getting away 15 seconds before it appeared.  Don't forget this is all in darkness for them - we are seeing with Infrared cameras......

A fox - and plump raccoons....

We had a visit from the fox and as well as three plump raccoons.   All feeding before Winter really sets in.  There was a deer outside this morning at dawn - but no pictures.....

A busy time - deer, possums and a fox

Two deer this afternoon - we think there are at least 4 in the area - two possums sharing last night, and finally, a fox grabbing a rib bone!!!!

Polite Possum and surprised cat.....

This possum is very polite when eating a rib bone - careful use of one paw.  I will need to leave them some wet-wipes.......

This cat was very surprised when two deer suddenly came running up - being a typical cat, it ignored them and carried on eating!

We had three visits during the day from two deer (the single antler buck didn't return).
